Sometimes I wonder just how far folks will follow someone. Today I had the privilege of reading that Pat Robertson has hinted that it was God that caused all the health problems for PM Sharon of Israel. I had to read it twice just to make sure that I had it straight. Yep, that’s basically what he said. Now I hate to say this, but I really am starting to get worried about ol’ Pat. This is the second of these types of statements that he has made.
I’ve never been particularly religious. I darn sure don’t watch his TV show. I don’t watch any show of this type/genre. It’s just not my cup of tea. But it irks me when he gets national recognition for saying such stupid things. Now I did see him on one of the news shows, and he looked bad. I mean old. I know he is in his 70′s, but he looked like he was about to die. I really think this is what’s behind all these outbursts. He is starting to act demented.
So here’s the deal. If you read this, and disagree fine. Post. I’ll read it and put up the answer. But don’t expect me to change my mind. I’ve got no use for folks like this. He rates right up there with all the Muslim fanatics. I find that anyone that get’s fanatical about religion must have a screw loose somewhere.
